Easter'09
Its Good Friday today! So here's out to all Christians on Earth! HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY! :)it's been a rather intensive week for me the whole of this week, outreaching, prayer conference, p4 training, school.. etc! RAR! i made a stand to not use my phone in class and to be attentive and no sleeping and i'm really glad i did what i had wanted to do! :) i'm so proud of myself! :) RAR! haha.. i've been outreaching to my PA crews and my good friend. however, after many weeks and days of confirmation, it was to my disappointment that my good friend could not make it for the services after many weeks of outreaching.. and yea. i was rather discouraged and i felt rather disappointed at myself. like a failure in a way, i know it's not about bringing in the number of people.. it's the heart of the people, willingly to accept God into them, confessing the love that God has been giving them.. however, i really Thank God for not forsaking me in times like this as He has sent His many little angels to encourage me not to give up hope and not to be discouraged as God sees the hearts of His servants. The number of harvest is not an issue but what matters most is He is able to see His servants putting in effort and running the race with Him. Ben was sharing with me over the phone about the story that Pst Scanlon has shared during one of his sermons.. something about choosing the people to bring in to the Kingdom of God.. like why should we choose the people we want to to come to church? why not let everyone come in? yea, it really made me ponder alot even up till now. my conclusion to this is really, we shouldn't choose the type of people whom we want to come into the Kingdom of God, but to welcome everyone into His House and enjoy His Presence together :) Kezia, Francis, Rachel and my lovely CG W341.. were also the few angels God had sent me. They both told me not to be discouraged as it might be the start of God's challenge to me. &yup, we should not jus outreach only on special occasions but daily :) yuppp. Just wanna thank all of you for not neglecting me and praying for me :) i really appreciate it! :) <3 10/04/09 |
